Prime Gaming is giving away EA Games Over the Next Few Months
Amazon’s Prime Gaming is giving away EA games over the next few months.
Over the next six months, Amazon and EA will be giving away free PC games and content through Amazon’s Prime Gaming programme. Amazon says four more of EA’s “most popular titles” will be published in 2022, and Prime customers can get a free Origin ticket for the unexpectedly good to remaster of 2010 Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit this month (although given the opening game, it might be worth keeping your expectations in check).
If you’re reading this in November, you can also get EA’s Dragon Age Inquisition for free through Prime Gaming. Amazon’s agreement with EA includes skins for games like Apex Legends and Battlefield 2042, as well as “rolling out over the coming months” new content for EA Sports games.
You’ll also be able to receive a variety of other free games with Prime Gaming, as is customary. Frostpunk, Journey to the Savage Planet, Football Manager 2021, and TellTale’s take on the classic Monkey Island series, Tales of Monkey Island, are all available in December and should be enjoyable romps for any holiday celebrations you have planned. The following items are also included:
- Morkredd
- Spellcaster University
- YouTubers Life
- Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse
Amazon hasn’t revealed which EA titles will be released next, but it’s worth keeping an eye out for. As much as the publisher is vilified (and rightly so), they have some excellent titles, and it’s difficult to complain about receiving them for free. Personally, I’m crossing my fingers that the set has been remastered. One of the future free games will be Command and Conquer Games, which will give me a nice, delicious taste of memories.
