Realme has mistakenly announced the India launch date of their 2022 flagship Realme GT 2 Pro is all set to launch on April 7 in India, via a tweet this morning. Realme, on the other hand, quickly removed the tweet. At the FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week a few hours later, the same April 7 launch date for the Realme GT 2 series in India was formally announced.
At the Lakme Fashion Week, the brand also reaffirmed its commitment to environmental sustainability. The Realme GT 2 Pro is the world’s first smartphone built of an environmentally friendly biopolymer material to cut carbon emissions, and it has received the TCO Development accreditation from Sweden.
The GT 2 Pro will help the corporation accomplish its goal of reducing carbon emissions by 30% and achieving ‘Double Zero’ emissions by 2025. There’s no news yet on whether the Realme GT 2 will be available in India.

The 8GB + 128GB storage model of the Realme GT 2 Pro costs EUR 749 (approximately Rs. 63,000). It also comes in a 12GB + 256GB storage option for EUR 849.99. (roughly Rs. 71,000).
Realme GT 2 Pro Features and Specifications-
To recall, the Paper Tech Master-designed Realme GT 2 Pro, which was just released worldwide, has a rectangular camera bump with large camera housings. It’s also one of the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 smartphones to hit the market.
It has a 6.7-inch 2K LTPO 10-bit AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1400 nits, among other things. The phone has a maximum RAM of 12GB and a storage capacity of 256GB.
